MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL), 84-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, MacArthur upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Springfield (Springfield, IL) to play the Senators in a Central State Eight bout on Saturday, December 2. The Senators come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Springfield lost 68-49 in their recent non-league bout against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight bout, on Saturday, December 2. Decatur Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 74-49 non-league win over Jersey (Jerseyville, IL).
