The Deerfield Demons basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Palmyra-Eagle Panthers to 41 in the Demons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Demons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson Creek for a Trailways - South contest on Friday, December 1. Deerfield will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 48-35 league win over Madison Country Day (Waunakee, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-0.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Williams Bay (Williams Bay, WI). The Bulldogs enter the Trailways - South contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Williams Bay was outscored by The Prairie School (Racine, WI), 78-40, in a non-league contest.
