Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes (Appleton, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Waupaca Comets (Waupaca, WI), 74-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Fox Valley Lutheran upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Foxes travel to Marinette (Marinette, WI) to clash with the Marines in a North Eastern bout on Thursday, November 30. The Marines go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Marinette lost 69-52 in their recent league bout against Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI)

Next up, the Comets clash with the Menasha Bluejays (Menasha, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Waupaca will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 73-70 non-league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, WI).
