In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), by a margin of 74-36.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Commerce (Commerce, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Commerce smashed Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA), 68-63, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Cedar Shoals for a AAAA Region 8 outing on Thursday, November 30. Johnson will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 66-51 non-league loss to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-2.
