The Gore Pirates basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Porum Panthers to 42 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCurtain for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Gore will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-40 league win over Keota (Keota, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Arkoma (Arkoma, OK). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Arkoma was outscored by Webbers Falls (Webbers Falls, OK), 47-43, in a non-league contest.
