Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) and the visiting Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX), saw McKinney's basketball squad hold off Highland Park by a tally of 51-49.

With the victory, McKinney improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Liberty (Frisco, TX) to play the Redhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Scots play the Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Highland Park will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 49-36 non-league win over Trinity (Trinity, TX).
