With the victory, Izard County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to play the Timberwolves in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Friday, December 1. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Cedar Ridge lost 61-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, December 1. Quitman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 68-63 league loss to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR).
