Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), 58-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Jones County upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Greyhounds host Houston County (Warner Robins, GA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Houston County won 70-51 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast (Macon, GA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 bout, on Thursday, November 30. Union Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 110-66 league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA).
