Licking Wildcats (Licking, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO), 73-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Licking upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stoutland (Stoutland, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a Frisco bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Stoutland won 83-56 in their recent non-league bout against Macks Creek (Macks Creek, MO)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Crocker Lions (Crocker, MO) in a Frisco bout, on Friday, December 1. Laquey will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 59-56 league loss to Iberia (Iberia, MO).
