With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Roughriders host Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Polar Bears in a Freelance bout on Friday, December 1. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Des Moines North won 81-58 in their recent league bout against Mason City (Mason City, IA)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Marshalltown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 43-42 league loss to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA).
