The Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) basketball felled the host Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), 67-51 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats go into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Plainfield Central thwarted Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 68-61, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie test on Friday, December 1. Plainfield South will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 64-57 league win over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
