The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Rushville-Industry Rockets to 35 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camp Point Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia will battle a Panthers team coming off a 37-30 league win over Liberty (Liberty, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.

The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Bushnell-Prairie City was routed by Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL), 57-34, in a non-league contest.
