Texas High School Basketball - Spurger can't hold off Sabine Pass

The Sabine Pass Sharks basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Spurger Pirates to 45 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sharks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamshire-Fannett for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Sabine Pass will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-1.
The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Founders Christian (Spring, TX). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Founders Christian nudged Hardin (Hardin, TX), 57-37, in a non-league contest.
