Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC), 43-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Andrews upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the West-Oak Warriors (Westminster, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC).
