The Bishop Amat Lancers basketball team (La Puente, CA), was toppled 59-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA)
The Mariners now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Conaty-Loretto for a Camino Real battle on Thursday, November 30. St. Monica will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 70-20 league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.
The Lancers (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars come into the Camino Real battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Mary Star of the Sea was toppled by Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA), 57-32, in a non-league battle.
