The Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), 65-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Rock Hill (Ironton, OH). The Redmen go into the Ohio Valley test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Rock Hill walloped Fairview (Ashland, KY), 65-9, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1.
