Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) and the host Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS), saw Lafayette's basketball squad wallop Bruce by a tally of 74-47.

With the victory, Lafayette improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Commodores host South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. South Pontotoc won 50-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Bruce will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 74-44 non-league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).
