Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX), 40-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Burleson upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Elks travel to Aledo (Aledo, TX) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Aledo won 47-30 in their recent non-league bout against Sanger (Sanger, TX)
Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Midlothian Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 47-27 non-league loss to Cisco (Cisco, TX).
