Illinois High School Basketball - Edwardsville holds off Highland

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Edwardsville Tigers (Edwardsville, IL) and the visiting Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL), saw Edwardsville's basketball squad hold off Highland by a tally of 42-36.
With the victory, Edwardsville improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Alton (Alton, IL) to confront the Redbirds in a Southwestern challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Alton won 51-20 in their recent non-league challenge against MICDS (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Friday, December 1. Highland will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 50-46 non-league win over Collinsville (Collinsville, IL).
