The West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL), 40-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their test against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons go into the 4A Area 15 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, St. John Paul II was tipped by Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL), 49-34, in a non-league test.
The Red Devils now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Lauderdale County for a 3A Area 16 test on Tuesday, December 5.
