Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM), 57-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tatum upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Capitan (Capitan, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Warriors play the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Gateway Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 44-18 non-league win over Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, NM).
