The Harding Academy Wildcats (Searcy, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR), 55-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Searcy (Searcy, AR). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Searcy notched a victory over Mountain Home (Mountain Home, AR), 62-45, in a non-league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Batesville for a non-league test on Saturday, December 2. Newport will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 54-42 non-league win over Beebe (Beebe, AR). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.
