Iowa High School Basketball - Whiting can't hold off Heartland Christian

The Heartland Christian basketball team scored 26 points and held the visiting Whiting Warriors to 23 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Griswold for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Heartland Christian will battle a Tigers team coming off a 53-34 non-league loss to Southwest Valley (Corning, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against River Valley (Correctionville, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, River Valley nudged Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 66-36, in a non-league contest.
