The Silverdale Academy Seahawks (Chattanooga, TN) basketball nipped the host Soddy Daisy Trojans (Soddy Daisy, TN), 50-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Seahawks (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN). The Fighting Irish go into the Division II-A East District 2 test with a 1-1 record.
The Trojans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Signal Mountain for a 3A District 6 test on Friday, December 1. Soddy Daisy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-37 non-league win over Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
