North Carolina High School Basketball - South Stokes topped by Surry Central

November 28, 2023: Walnut Cove, NC 27052

The Surry Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host South Stokes Sauras to 40 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alleghany for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Surry Central will battle a Trojans team coming off a 53-33 non-league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-3.

The Sauras (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, McMichael was defeated by Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 59-36, in a non-league contest.
