The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was nudged 13-11 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Thomas Academy Eagles (Lake Waccamaw, NC)
The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Father Capodanno for a Freelance battle on Thursday, November 30. Thomas Academy will confront a Grunts team coming off a 58-28 non-league win over Berean Baptist Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Grunts record now stands at 2-3.
The (17-83) will now prepare for their battle against Strawn (Strawn, TX). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
