The Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) basketball knocked off the host Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 54-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Staunton went down by Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA), 69-58, in a non-league test.
