The Fort Defiance Indians basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Broadway Gobblers to 50 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turner Ashby for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 29.
The Gobblers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Monticello ran past Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 55-23, in a non-league contest.
