The Sarasota Sailors basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Riverview Sarasota Rams to 46 in the Sailors league victory on Tuesday.
The Sailors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood Ranch for a non-league match on Thursday, November 30. Sarasota will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 49-44 non-league win over Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Riverview Sarasota moves to 0-1 on the year. The Rams host Manatee (Bradenton, FL) to meet the Hurricanes in a non-league match on Friday, December 15. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 0-1.
