In Tuesday's non-league outing, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), by a margin of 67-37.

The Sauras (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, McMichael was trounced by Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 60-54, in a non-league outing.

The Golden Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Alleghany for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1.
