The Palm Bay Pirates (Melbourne, FL) basketball edged the host Lake Howell Silverhawks (Winter Park, FL), 62-59 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Fork for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 29. Palm Bay will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-35 non-league win over Brevard Christian (West Melbourne, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Lake Howell falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Silverhawks travel to Rockledge (Rockledge, FL) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, November 29.
