In Friday's non-league game, the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) football team overcame the host Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX), by a tally of 30-14.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 5. Smithson Valley will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Unicorns come into the outing with a 11-2 record after their 41-31 non-league win over Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).

With the defeat, Pieper drops to 8-5 on the campaign.
