The Alief Taylor Lions basketball team (Houston, TX), was toppled 65-48 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX)

The Mavericks now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellaire for a 6A Region III District 18 battle on Wednesday, November 30. Morton Ranch will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 58-42 non-league loss to Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.
