The Whitwell Tigers basketball team (Whitwell, TN), was overwhelmed 66-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN)
The Warriors now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rhea County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 1. Bledsoe County will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 59-54 non-league loss to Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Andrews-Sewanee (Sewanee, TN). The Mountain Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, St. Andrews-Sewanee trounced Berean Academy (Hixson, TN), 38-32, in a non-league battle.
