Freedom Irish (Freedom, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Clintonville Truckers (Clintonville, WI), 44-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Freedom upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Irish host Wrightstown (Wrightstown, WI) to play the Tigers in a North Eastern bout on Friday, December 2. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wrightstown won 80-65 in their recent league bout against Denmark (Denmark, WI)

Next up, the Truckers play the Little Chute Mustangs (Little Chute, WI) in a North Eastern bout, on Friday, December 2. Clintonville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 75-23 league win over Oconto Falls (Oconto Falls, WI).
