The Southern Indians basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Edison Wildcats to 49 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host United for a Eastern Ohio contest on Friday, December 9.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH). The Huskies enter the Buckeye 8 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Harrison Central ran past Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH), 81-80, in a league contest.
