In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Faith Christian Lions basketball team scored a tight 50-46 triumph over the Spring Garden Panthers.
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Winterboro (Alpine, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Area 8 test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Winterboro was tipped by Vincent (Vincent, AL), 73-52, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Coosa Christian for a 1A Area 12 test on Friday, December 2. Spring Garden will encounter a Conquerors squad coming off a 56-32 non-league loss to Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL). The Conquerors record now stands at 0-1.
