Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Kempner nips Royal

November 29, 2022: Brookshire, TX 77423

Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX), 64-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Bend Kempner upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Columbia (West Columbia, TX) to play the Roughnecks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Roughnecks come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Columbia lost 74-49 in their recent non-league bout against Angleton (Angleton, TX)

Next up, the Falcons play the Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Royal will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 63-55 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX).
