Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA), 73-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Montezuma upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Braves host Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA) to play the Hawks in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Friday, December 2. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 1-1.
