Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions (Roopville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oak Mountain Academy Warriors (Carrollton, GA), 58-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Holy Ground Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Stallions host Central Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to play the Crusaders in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 3 bout on Thursday, December 1. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Central Christian won 69-56 in their recent league bout against Trinity Christian (Griffin, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Oak Mountain Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 60-54 non-league win over Horizon Christian Academy (Cumming, GA).
