Macon Tigers (Macon, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Salisbury Panthers (Salisbury, MO), 60-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Macon upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Chillicothe won 58-40 in their recent non-league bout against Savannah (Savannah, MO)

Next up, the Panthers play the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Salisbury will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
