Marmaduke Greyhounds (Marmaduke, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR), 53-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marmaduke upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to play the Mustangs in a 2A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 6-0.

Next up, the Rebels play the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Friday, December 2. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 62-58 league win over Bay (Bay, AR).
