North Carolina High School Basketball - McDowell thwarted by R-S Central

November 29, 2022: Rutherfordton, NC 28139

The McDowell Titans basketball team (Marion, NC), was toppled 60-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC)

The Hilltoppers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 1. R-S Central will confront a Warhorses team coming off a 58-54 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 2-1.

The Titans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, South Caldwell beat Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 56-33, in a non-league battle.
