Spring Creek Academy Spartans (Plano, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Central Texas Academy Pioneers (Granbury, TX), 48-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Spring Creek Academy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Oklahoma City Storm (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Oklahoma City Storm won 71-55 in their recent non-league bout against Casady (Oklahoma City, OK)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. North Central Texas Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 73-43 league loss to Universal Academy (Irving, TX).
