California High School Basketball - Valencia can't hold off Saugus

The Saugus Centurions basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Valencia Vikings to 52 in the Centurions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Centurions now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Ranch for a Foothill contest on Friday, December 2. Saugus will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 80-50 league win over Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.

The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame (SO) nudged Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA), 98-72, in a non-league contest.
