Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA), 54-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Saugus upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Centurions travel to West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Friday, December 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-0. West Ranch won 80-18 in their recent league bout against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Valencia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 63-32 non-league win over Knight (Palmdale, CA).
