The Blacksburg Wildcats basketball team (Blacksburg, SC), was toppled 43-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC)

The Gryphons now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Asheville Trailblazers for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. Thomas Jefferson will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 65-32 non-league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Trailblazers record now stands at 0-1.

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Centurions come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Broome beat Chesnee (Chesnee, SC), 55-20, in a non-league battle.
