Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 49-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cave Spring upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Lord Botetourt won 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA)

Next up, the Terriers play the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Demons come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 58-40 non-league win over Auburn (Riner, VA).
