Georgia High School Basketball - Dooly County can't hold off Twiggs County

The Twiggs County Cobras basketball team scored 29 points and held the visiting Dooly County Bobcats to 27 in the Cobras non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cobras now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crawford County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Twiggs County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 67-26 non-league win over Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
The Bobcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Wilkinson County was nudged by Houston County (Warner Robins, GA), 48-7, in a non-league contest.
