North Carolina High School Basketball - East Columbus can't hold off West Bladen

The East Columbus Gators basketball team (Lake Waccamaw, NC), was nudged 44-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC)

The Knights now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Columbus for a non-league battle on Wednesday, November 30. West Bladen will battle a Stallions team coming off a 25-19 non-league win over Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-2.

The Gators (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, East Bladen edged South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 64-43, in a non-league battle.
